Carlos has been posting pictures of beautiful Panama City.... which made me think we need a place to show off our home towns.  

The neighbourhood, region or places where we live.

Or have lived at some time.

Here's the main street in my little Arizona mountain town, Prescott:



My house is about ten blocks to the right of the center of that photo.

And about five blocks in the other direction, you leave town like this:



We're surrounded on three sides by the Prescott National Forest (mostly ponderosa pine & juniper forests, depending on elevation as you'll notice changing in the video above) and by Willow & Watson lakes, which are about what you'd get if you flooded the valley floor of Joshua Tree National Park:
