On the way to savannah, ga!

I'd love to visit but I doubt if I'll ever be stationed in HI.

Any updates?

also, after re-reading your initial posting you mention a possibility of an SSS on the bike.  Well, I have (somewhere) a pic of an S2R swingarm (modified to use the stock lower SS shock mount) bolted to an '00 SS750.  I'll see if I can dig that out sometime in the next week.  popcorn

I have the tank back.  I'm currently TDY for 6 months, so I will not be able to do ANY work to it unitl July-ish.  I should make a buck or few so I should be able to finish it once I get back.  So...hopefully I'll have a living breathing Supermonster?...monsterSS?...by fall.

Ok...  I'm not the quickest here...  But, here's the shots of an S2R swinger on a 2000 SS750i.e. I mocked up in 2006 for a project that fizzled.

The rear wheel is off of a '99 996 btw...  If the S2R swingarm was about 1" shorter, I think it would flow with the lines of the SS better, but it's still not bad.  The rear suspension wasn't connected in the photos, there's a 7/8" steel rod holding the bike up.

I have the capacity to add an SS rear shock mount to the top tube of the S*R swingarm if someone's interested in this mod BTW...  bacon

I built one back in '99 on a '95 Supersport.  Later in 2003/4 did a lot of artwork concepts of SBK swingarms on the newer Supersport. Never figured out why Ducati never offered this setup (probably cost) -- it's just way too cool looking...

Yeah...  The lines of the S2R swingarm really flow with the 'swoopiness' of the 99&up SS fairings...
