Oh, I see. My favorite game as a kid was submarine. We'd have a big group of kids and we'd divide in half. One half lined both sides of the sidewalk and be armed with footballs and skateboards, the other half would be on their bicycles.
The object of the game (if you were on a bicycle) was to ride through the gauntlet w/o getting hit. If you got hit, you were out. The last one to survive was the winner. There were always accidents and by game's end there was always blood (nobody wore a helmet back then). I usually won... does that make me a hooligan?

My favorite game was "suicide".  Basically like hand ball but no points, you screw up by missing the ball.  If you miss and the other person hits the ball to the wall before you reach it, you put your hands on the wall and get hit with the ball.  If you hit the ball to the wall before a bounce, the other guy puts his hands on the wall...

This game hurt after a while.

Yeah, and schools these days are banning dodge ball and tag at recess.

Not because it may hurt getting tagged by a rubber ball at 70mph...

But because the first person "out" is now "isolated and made to feel different."

My favorite was scramble...someone had a ball & ran around trying to hit people as hard as possible in the groin & face  :e:v (sorta' like dodgeball, but no boundaries).

 :bang :bang :bang

I"m now 0 for 2 with AAA. Angry

Round 1 - no tow companies affiliated with AAA had a permit to pick up my bent up Monster in a State Park.

Round 2 - no tow companies will pick up a bike without the owner being present.

I was REALLY hoping to not have to take a day off work, but guess what I have to do on Tuesday Tongue!

 :bang

Well, at least it's only 3 weeks out of service, not 2 1/2 months like last year Cool Embarrassed

Riding in the rain... no better way to about smooth throttle opening/closing and smooth braking/braking limits. Just sayin. Wink

Oh and Tommy... rent an "In town" Uhaul van to pick your bike, ask Jake, he knows all about Uhaul rentals.

I know all about Uhaul & their rates too  Sad I had to rent a van a couple of years ago for my CB when it crapped the bed up at Bear Mountain. I think that it costs me around ~$150 Since it's an-town rental they rape you on the cost per mile. If you need tie-downs, both Jake & I have some you can borrow, which will save you a little bit of $.

No, I am forcing this.  I will be taking Tuesday off.  I will drive up there and watch the AAA designated driver carefully put my bike on a carrier and lead them back into the city.

I am getting what I pay for, Dammit!! be::  I am NOT going 0 for 3 wt:

BTW - IG - I got your PM!!  Thank you very much, but I'm taking a stand here. be::

If it turns out to be a no go on Tuesday.  I'm available Sat. 5/17 to help you pick up your bike from Rockwell.
