Got my heads glass blasted, pretty closed surface.
How  to keep them from getting dirty, preventing road grime to stick etc?
Drowning/massaging them in WD40 most common answer I get, any good?
Something else gives better result?

Hmm I can't imagine any one solution to your problem. But I think bead blasted raw aluminium is going to look terrible very quickly (it already does in my opinion)and you should get a coating of some sort on those heads or you are not going to be happy. That should be first. And also you need to get it done yesterday because aluminium begins to corrode almost immediately after it is subjected to atmosphere. Ducpainter taught me that. If I had my heads redone, I'd get them vapor blasted instead of bead blasted as it leaves a very presentable finish which can just be clearcoated. Standard beadblasting is a very dull and ugly finish in my opinion.

You’ll need to paint them after bead blasting, or they’ll go scungy very quickly.

I used VHT “universal aluminium” when I painted mine: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=56614.msg1172302#msg1172302
