Anyone know a parts vendor Stateside for Bimota. Got a customer's 1999 DB4 Tricolore that has a shagged fuel sender. It's a funky looking design quite different to the Ducati types and probably less reliable. Amazing but true Grin.
Cheers.

ummm...maybe.  Bimota has this place listed as the US distributor, though it doesn't seem so on their website.  If you want I can give them a call.

No worries. waytogo

I'll plug the hole by modifying the sensor and sealing with Stag Jointing Paste until we find a part.

Thanks. You reckon he may have a contact or old parts?

I may have found one from an SB6. It will fit but the tower appears shorter, so it'll probably kick in around 3-4 litres rather than 5 or 6.

They're a strange part, not thick like the Ducati part, but a third the thickness of a pen and more like a pen's core which holds the ink. The tower is hollow thin walled metal which corrodes easily leaking fuel down the centre. This one had a rust hole in the tower and fell apart in my hands.
