2009 M696 installing new air filter.
Should I install it dry or use a special product to wet the filter?
How much?
Recommendations?

It depends on the filter. What type and brand are you looking at?

If its yellow paper, then no fluid. Most oem are paper.
Fluid is for foam, cotton gauze, etc and that varies per type and Mfr. K&N cotton pleat use a specific spray while foam filters often use a special oil you massage in.
