Im sure you’re right as no one in Sweden that I know of has dyno of dukes as a service. Sucks as I’m probably gonna have to go to Denmark for it :/

ItalBike center close to Stockholm? Biscaya close to Göteborg?

Yes the DP ECU is a better platform. An open air box when tuned will be better than throwing on some pods for an "old school" look. If you're going to do pods, do performance pods Cheesy

Pretty sure what Stew is saying is that not all dyno tuners have the ability through the software, or the knowledge, to adjust the ignition map to optimize the fuel adjustments.

The DP ecu has the ignition already adjusted, so any fuel adjustments the tuner makes are optimized.

He'll correct me if I'm wrong.

Does this mean the stock ECU that I had reflashed by Houston Superbikes is not the same as a DP ECU? I was under the impression it was transformed from stock ECU to DP ECU via software reprogramming. Is the DP ECU different from the stock ECU from a hardware standpoint?

I would check with them. Some reflash jobs are reportedly just the DP software while others may be derived from custom dyno tune data. Stock or DP base maps may have been used for custom maps and adjusted for specific mods. Best talk to them.

If they flashed it to a DP ecu spec, again best to ask, then the DP ignition map came with it.

Not trying to spam.

I used 2 K&N breather filter ref 62-1360. And the dynamic corse kit. I'm running a rexxer map from Cornerspeed, UK. It's not POD ready, but it's a map that I ran with the MWR PUK, no O2 sensors, no exup and slip-ons.

Made a custom bracket because the pieces supplied with the dynamic corse are useless for the Monster 1100s.

Curious:  How long does that engine breather last being so close to the exhaust pipe?

Not sure, but I'll try to monitor that. Anyway it's possible to use the original breather tube, or make a small extension to protect it more from the heat.

Thank you for the heads up!
