I follow this woman's travels and she was forced to stop her Patagonia to Alaska tour just as she got to Peru. Covid put a halt to her travels. She has returned to The Netherlands and has been taking little day trips within Holland so you can see her country.  In this episode she takes you on a tour of three cities in Holland that played a part in World War II. It has been 75 years since The Netherlands was liberated from the Nazis.  She goes to Rotterdam, Nijmegen, and Arnehm. Operation Market Garden might kickstart your memory.  If you have ever seen the movie: "A Bridge Too Far." It is about Operation Market Garden. What caught my interest is the deep care the Dutch people have for the allies that freed their country.  Noraly says that every buried veteran has someone to take care of that grave.  There is even a waiting list to be one of those peopled that takes care of those graves and in fact the waiting list is so long they quit taking applications for care takers.  It is truly amazing to see the appreciation the Dutch have for the allies.
