Hi everyone,

New owner of a 2018 1200s in LCG here, been riding for almost 12 years now.  My only other bike was a 04 Yamaha FZ06 which was my daily rider, I put almost 50k on her(actually kinda sad I had to trade her in). She never broke down and had countless mods Smiley

I'm just a regular dad from SoCal. Not a big track guy just the occasional weekend for fun rider and not super handy but can't wait to pass this break-in period so I can start modding this new gal. First "mod" was a screen protector for dash, WTF is it a phone or a bike!?!?! Up Next will be some sliders all around.

Welcome  waytogo

Good that you moved on from the Yamaha (even if you loved it). The dash: how many pages are about the elecronics in the manual now? 250? 20 about mechanics? My bike had 10 or 20 about the electronics...

Thanks for welcome! Hehe, yeah sooo much electronics it's kinda ridiculous. My FZ06 MOM  was maybe 1/5 as big, fit under the seat and was in multiple languages. But part of my reason for getting Monster was "new car features" envy.  I don't know if i'll even use 1/4 of it but I know I wanted it. I will admit though I'm am riding it in Urban mode for now. Going from 98hp/46ft-lbs to 147/91 was kinda pants crap inducing  Grin
