That’s because Dovi was setting the pace and no one was in a hurry to test the longevity of the Michelins. I think the walking wounded, like Cal and MM, appreciated the sedate pace. The Yamahas also preferred it since they still don’t know if their tire gremlins have been exorcised |

Rins was looking racy.
Rookies did pretty good, other than Q's warmup bobble (but geez even then he was within a second of arguing with Zarco over the first point!)
Dunno why Danilo looked so down, maybe the bike is tiring him out.
Ducati put a tire cooling device on.
Honda's had a brake cooling device on since mid last year IIRC.
Dovi handled MM again on the last-corner challenge.
And it's at 4/1 now, or 5/1?
That's gotta burn MM's cookies.
It'd be interesting to watch them all and see how Dovi pulled it off.
How in the world did Iannone drop his bike on the cool off lap?

Yes, if Q can get over the yips, he'll be fine!  Apparently Danilo gambled on soft/soft, but the track temp didn't drop and I suspect he burned em up. |
