Looks like this ended up being a 2 or 3 part question ...

How many dual spark engines did Ducati put out there?; the only ones I'm familiar with are the 1K monsters 06-08and the muli-strudals( 04-08?); but this must be most liter engines?

Looking to upgrade coils; OEM or after market coils for 1K dual spark what's good, better, best? Quality and prices considered. Sometimes cheaper is as good if not better? Would spark p wires also help with performance?

Many 1100 engines were dual spark too. Only the 1100Evo engines were single spark tmk.
Dyna make dual output coils but oem should be fine. The later oem coils for injected motors  appear improved over some of the earlier Ducati coils.

Fresh leads, plugs, and caps are worth replacing on older bikes as a longer term service item .
