On Day three of testing Ducati riders locked up the top four spots.  Petrucci broke the existing lap record set by Lorenzo last year and was fastest. Then Pecco Bagnaia was second on a GP18 Pracmac bike and he also broke the record, and those two were followed by Jack Miller and Dovioso both on the GP19. Yamaha riders Vinales was fifth and Rossi 10th.  Believe it or not but Cal Crutchlow was fastest Honda which is surprising especially since he is still recovering from a badly broken ankle he suffered at Phillip Island, Australia in October 2018.  Marc Marquez finished in 11th who is recovering from should surgery. No Suzukis in the top 10 which is a surprise. And if you did not know Lorenzo did not participate due to recovering from another broken wrist (scaphoid) he suffered while training for this years racing.

In the article take a look at what Ducati has up its sleeve for the new fairing on the GP19.  Too bad we can't see the video. Ducati is the leader in Aerodynamics in MotoGP.

So it is a good start for Ducati.
