I can't help but think Goff's lack of experience hindered him a lot here.

Seems like the Pats managed to really pressure him.
That was part of it, but the Pats played man to man pretty much exclusively all year. Last night they played 40% zone. He wasn't coached to read that. LA did somewhat the same in that they disguised what they were doing so Brady was having trouble reading zone, or man. The one thing that saved the Pats was Edelmann. The Rams couldn't cover him...man. double team, or zone. |
