So I just installed a K-bike slipper clutch in my 2000 900ie S Monster.
It up shifts great-no issues there. Down shifting, however, is a bit odd. I get a lot of feeback through the clutch lever (almost like a clicking). I'm not sure what would cause that other than the pushrod slamming back into the clutch slave??

This is my first slipper clutch. Is this normal?

Thanks,

Clayton

NFHE with this brand, but I have read reports of some slipper clutches giving a "clicking" feedback through the lever on down shifts.

seems normal to me.
I've had 2 different brand slippers on my M900 & they both clicked like that when letting out clutch on the downshift. the click was much worse once they got worn.

So what's it like downshifting or rolling off throttle into a corner? Does it eliminate a lot of engine braking/back torque as you would expect and keep entry speed high?

Came here to say I just installed a KBike slipper on much dry clutch conversion and noticed the weird clicking feedback in the lever. Aside from that, everything seems golden with engagement and slipping (slipping the lever for slow navigation).

I bought a K-Bike but haven't installed it yet. I had been debating swapping it out for a adjustable one. But figured I'd loij up some reviews first.
