I recently purchased what was supposed to be a slip on Termignoni Titanium exhaust/ECU/filter kit for my 2009 1100S which is very rare these days, infortunately the kit contained cans for a 696 and not 1100S.

Trying to get it sorted and one option is to keep the ECU/filter and buy the correct cans but my Ducati dealer advises that the exhaust are only supplied as part of the kit and cannot be purchased seperately??

Anyone know different and could I use the DP ECU with different cans or are they tuned to the specific items in the kit?

Any help much appreciated

AFAIK the cans are the same for those bikes....

The ECU must (?) also be for a 696 and that's a problem. You might be able to reflash it to 1100 specs (MotoWheels)

Ask MW and/or read here http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=12166.0

Yeah, better check the numbers on the ECU with your dealer or enquire here. At least you can re flash the hardware with tuning options as has been advised. You never know, some Rexxer maps may be better than the DP map. Worth a call to our sponsor.

I found a seller on eBay from Italy, wrs special parts, that sold just the exhaust for my 848 at a price lower than used ones had been selling for.  I then reflashed the ecu myself saving a large some of money over buying the dp kit.

Thanks both - I am caught in the middle of the supplier saying that the exhausts from this kit 96453309Β fit both 696 and 1100S and Ducati Glasgow saying the diameters are different compared to the LV superbike exhausts that are currently fiitted.

GD have confirmed that the race ECU is correct for my 1100S - and the label on the box has the right code so why don't they fit???

Any help gratefully received..

If the ECU is labeled and DG confirms it... sounds ok.

New info about the (full system?) exhaust might indicate a different pipe diameter - useless for your new slip ons. You can buy a used stock system. They are usually cheap.

Pipes are slip ons as per the kit - I understtod that only the full race system has larger pipes?
