Does anyone have recommendations for a good, simple saddlebag I can use on my 2000 Monster 900? I don't normally need it but sometimes might want to carry things without hanging them off my back. I would prefer they be easily removable with no large frame or anything. Something that could blend into the bike. Doesn't need to be really large. I have a Sergent seat with that cap over the back seat to make it look like a solo saddle.

Thanks for any help!

Check sponsor MonsterParts for Cortech luggage. Good quality and easy on/off. Buy an extra pair of bungee cords if you plan to use the bag daily.

You mean, like these?

Or, you meant "seat bag", such as these?

I picked up one of these recently. It's a perfect size for bringing lunch to work. For a real world sizing, it will be hold 2 40oz hydroflasks and a sammich. Also has a removable cargo net for stuffing a hoodie or hat under.

The kriega 20 pictured above is also nice, and big enough for a real backpack sized load.

Thanks for all the info and pictures! I'm checking out some local deals on the brands you guys mentioned. It's saddlebags I'm looking for, not the trunk bag.

Here you go https://m.ebay.ie/itm/1993-2000-Ducati-Monster-750-900-City-factory-saddlebags-69820281A-WITH-MOUNTS/163220983636?hash=item2600ba8f54:g:M4IAAOSwBP9bgb8m.   These are soft luggage and fit with stock exhaust. When they are not on the bike you can hardly tell there's any mounting bracket there. Ducati also made a set of large hard bags and a top case and it was a Ducati monster touring kit but I haven't seen one of those for sale in a long time

Had some Givi bags from Honda VFR, and modified the mounting to fit 2001 Monster 750 that is new to me. I wanted locking storage, and hate wearing a pack. The plastic rear seat cover does not fit, and it's solo only with these attached. Loving the compact size and quickness of the monster in the short week I've had it.

The DP/Givi bags are very nice.

Just be aware that the passenger pegs become unusable with the bags mounted.
