Hello y'all......been a while. Have a little concern. for the past week (not been riding my monster much) I've noticed a "strange sound" from around the front of the bike when running....from the engine area....don't want to scare my self though lol. i mean its not DISC, PADS, squeaking sound or so....just that the engine sounds LOUDER (not from the exhaust) in a not so comfortable way....dunno if u know what i mean. Someone had told me when i commented on the sound from his old model ducati, he said that's how they sound (maybe consoling himself...not sure). Please anyone have any idea what that could me AND WHAT I NEED to tick of my check list (possible causes).

would greatly appreciate some feedback.

Yours in Ducati-World,
Da-Homms.

When was the last time it was serviced?

1st week of August, I'm almost certain. Checked and treated as needed; Throttle body (didn't play around with that, just removed some slime with carb cleaner & allow to dry well), Injectors (nozzles), Air Filter, Fuel filter. Oil change was done 2 months earlier (so checked oil levels when carried the earlier check-ups....Oil quality and level was good  waytogo.

Thank you for ur feedback bro ...

I don't know bro, BUT I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT. bought off of a Biker here, where i live, and he's NOT that Bike savvy. And personally i have not done it since i owned it (June '18) & so scared to try it....wouldn't even know where and how to begin LOL.

I'm guessing, based on the location in your profile, that getting it to a shop will not be easy.

You need to check your valves. How many miles on the bike?

Also, have the belts been changed?

No Ducpainter.....That's JUST A Profile Pic. Went for a journey at that time.

like i said....I have not thought of, much less touched, of anything near the engine...apart from oil filter & oil change.

Thanks buddy.
