The 750 kit still available? Buddy has good reasons to convert to 750 rather than buy a 900 or 1000.

Hard to come by, if he wants to convert, have him go the 695 or 696 way or maybe 796 . . . I still have to get my engine of my frame and ship it to NH . . . Took me forever to get a customs permit for me to be able to send the engine to swap crankcases

If the bottom end is still good, you can find used 695, 750, or 800 cylinders & get hi compression 750 pistons.  It may be cheaper than shipping the complete engine.

Not finding the budget-friendly hicomp 750 pistons as available anywhere in a quick search.

There's Pistals, and they're gorgeous, but they're not cheap.

695/800 heads and 695/750/800 cylinders, OEM 750 pistons (likely to be a good idea to check valve-piston carefully, pistons may need a bit of surgery to clear the bigger valves)

695/800 pistons won't work (easily) as they're 2.15mm taller/2.25mm shorter
One can do a thick base 'gasket' or mill the cylinders to get the deck height correct in either case, but the belt tensioner adjustment hit its limits or thereabouts.
I mocked this up ages ago, I've got notes somewhere.

This is all under review in my fleet, as my shop M750's motor is sounding and feeling tired and I need to change platforms.

Thanks heaps. Much to consider there. The DP kit would be easiest I guess. FBF hi comp 750 pistons and a reborn reline of 620 barrels viable? Do they have enough meat on the cylinder?

They still have a website. Undecided

Pretty sure FBF pistons are made by J&E.

OK  . . it is a "new" website . . . But I know I am not that crazy and "a while" back they announced they were closing

IIRC manufactured by JE exclusively for FBF to FBF specs.

Business is done , but Enzo is still around selling pistons. Bought some 620 big bore pistons from him last spring. have the correct cylinders from an 800 waiting to be dropped in,........when the 620 blows.

Sorry but the 750 is not impressive. Trade and upscale
