Very likely.

Dovi said they each released the brakes twice trying to get the upper hand.  laughingdp

They had the res mist. I was also really surprised that Rossi couldn't pull off the same move he did like 20 times previously on the last lap. I assume that all of the 6 guys around him had been a victim of that move and figured out how to block it.

The early tangle between Rossi and Lorenzo woke me up quick. No idea how either kept it upright.

I think you're right, those he burned got wise.

The onboard from JLo's bike was awesome.

Did anyone see any explanation of what happened with Morbidelli's practice crash?

You can barely see Rossi on that photo and he was up there the whole time. I think he would have managed 2nd place if he could have just dove on the inside after letting Dovi go into turn 1 too hot.

All you see of Cal is a front tire.

I was going to post a picture of the world's smallest violin playing just for him, but it's too small to see.  Tongue

Notice the fully squashed front suspension of MM in that photo, nobody else even close to compressed that far.
He's half off the bike as well.
Normal service.

Simon Crafar asked someone from the team. IIRC he said Franco got out on the grass on the exit of the previous corner, or something like that.

He was trying to go ‘round the outside’ on that turn and went way deep before throwing out the anchor.  Evil There was several really good outside passes in the first part of the race.

Ah, that makes some sense, somewhat like Jack's bullet dodging awhile back.

Mav had a really good one going.  Dolph

Rewatching the start and lap1. Lorenzo in 10th as the lights get ready to go out is tucked down like he means bidness. He was shot out of a cannon around the outside and down into 2nd by turn 1. Impressive to say the least. Oh and his pass on MM for the lead was textbook.

Lorenzo flew down to turn 1. If he could ride like that when conditions are not perfect and/or be less than a total prick, I might be a fan.

Personally, I'd like to see what Marc could do with a Duc.

The guy seems to be able to ride around...anything.
