Hi all,

Sorry for the noob question, but I haven't been able to find the answer through googling. Mustn't be using the right search words.

But what is this part called, the grey part to which the foot pegs are attached, and are the black ones aftermarket / or just painted?

Foot peg brackets. Some might call them rear set assemblies (but that's about aftermarket actual rear set units)

Painted, yes.
