F1 just announced today that they are FINALLY getting into the subscription based streaming game! Details are scarce and there is no direct link to anything yet. It doesn't sound like it'll be ready by the first race, they just said "early" in the season. The monthly fee will be between $8-$12 (I am assuming that was USD).
This is good timing as after about 15 years I just gave DirecTv the heave ho!!

Yeah, the DRS. I know we all miss the big engines (they ain’t coming back) but the tech on these new cars is off the chain. The speeds are amazing, but for me it’s the ‘brakes’. I love watching these guys throw the anchor out at the end of a high speed section. I gotta go to a race this year. Would love to see them in Europe. Maybe I can tie it into the WRC race in Finland. |
