I know he had injuries which caused problems and I know he had HUGE hacker problems that made it hard to communicate online, but I sincerly hope he hasn't shut down his 'imagineering' operations completely.

Had a phone call with him about six months ago.  He didn’t officially say that he’s out, but this doesn’t surprise me.

Was a helluva lotta fun working with him as a creative rival for a few years.

I can imagine him as a worthy and entertaining rival for your work  Maybe he'll continue the other projects, streamliner and car projects + +  We'll see

It was fun challenging myself while building customs.  I hope he does continue his work.  He's a very, very talented man.
