2006 S2R1000 with 7500 miles. Termi Slip ons, Rizmoto(I believe) tail chop, Rizmoto bar end mirrors, carbon fiber front fender, open clutch cover. Looks showroom new. Madly in love with it already. 6,000 mile service receipt in hand from PO.

Stationed in Northern Virginia until December, school in Missouri beginning next year, and then I'll be stationed in beautiful San Diego for a few years. Using her as a daily rider while my wife rocks our 2006 Magnum R/T to drive the son around.

A beautiful model for sure. The low miles, recent service and condition were a major score.  waytogo

Yeah blew mind when I showed up and saw it. I used to sell Mercedes-Benz and my manager always taught me how to "devalue" a trade by highlighting a scratch here or some oil there. I couldn't find a single wire that didn't look brand new. Easily my best purchase ever. The power and feel of that motor is amazing!!!

That was awful nice of the previous owner to get it and take care of it for you until you found it!   laughingdp

You might need some snow tires for Missouri in January, though.  Going to Leonard Wood?

Sadly yes. I'm slated to be a Marine MP Officer. Really excited for the job but not so much for MO haha. I don't know if it'll be in MO with me or if it'll be in CA waiting for me. Depends if they'll ship it.

Funny story... I went through Basic and AIT at FLW OCT86-FEB87.  We had weekend pass and we were up in St Roberts beering it up, I went to the can and walked in... and there were like 5 Marines just standing there staring at me.  I thought... Oh, poop!  As it turned out, one of them was a friend of mine I went to high school with in Indiana!  So I guess I didn't get beat up that night...

If you are going to school there, it's probably just best to leave the Duc wherever... just wait until you are at your permanent station.  There are some awesome roads around there... just not in the winter.

Here... here's a picture to get you ready for it...  I've got them up in my garage, now...  Grin

Oh that's too funny! Yeah it'll be my first experience on a non-marine base. Or a non-officer heavy base. The Basic School has been the last 6 months of my life and I'm in a company of 300 lieutenants haha I'm excited to get to MOS school finally. Except for the cold. I hate it.

Go where you are told, do what you are told, in the proper uniform, at the proper time... and all with a smile plastered on your face.
