Ducati 796 ABS 8600 miles got issues

Hey  Folks!  This  forum  posting  new  to  me;  but  sure  could  use  some  help.  Name's  Dennis got  no  Tech  support  as  I'm  on  Kauai ( Hawaii ).   Bike  been  running  great.  At 8600  miles now won't  always  fire when  cranking.  Removing key and  waiting  about  20  seconds before  cranking ,  then  engine  fires.  Sometimes  loping  idle and hesitation  coming  off  idle and  accelerating.  Exhaust butterfly motor  never  moves when  cold iron  or  maybe  never.  Any  ideas  or  help,   Thanks  for  reading

When was the last time the valve clearances were checked, and adjusted to what spec?
