Desmo club of NYC area does rides all around the area.  Some are Catskils, etc. which I imagine are too far for you to attend.  But they also do a NJ/PA one and a Central NJ one.  The NJ/PA passed, but the Central NJ one is still on the calendar:

Hey Dochunt:

I just got an email that said this week's ride (the July 26 ride) is now going to be the NJ/PA route rather than the Berkshire route that is listed on the website for that date.

Thought I'd pass the update along since it is about as close to your neck of the woods as NY DESMO gets.

I met up with a fellow member with his Guzzi group in Pittstown NJ.
Nice restaurant with good roads in the area.
Place is relatively easy to get to from most parts of the State and PA and NY.
If there are people interested maybe we can plan one in September.

I would be up for a ride, schedule and location permitting.

Haven't ridden it in awhile but that is a nice route.  I used to like riding up that way into NW NJ and then I'd come down the road in the DE Water Gap area on this side of the river.  I think it was Walpack Rd or something.

The route I take takes you through this place called Hawk's Nest and it's just a freaking beautiful ride. Very scenic, I've done the ride alone and its an experience to take in. I have yet to do it in a group.

I am not familiar with that area but I am up for it if someone can lead.
It is probably a 90 min ride for me from Monroe Twp.
