My rear brake started engaging until it was locked. Fortunately I got to the side of the road before full lock down.

Anyone know where I can find a rebuild kit for? Or should I get a new rear master?

Hey what up Steve

Same thing happened to me last year, I hadn't left enough freeplay in the pushrod when reassembling my rear brake system.

I searched for a rebuild kit as well, with no luck until I finally contacted Fred at Yoyodyne who I consider the authority on Brembo parts who told me that while such a thing may exist, he couldn't procure it and he didn't know anyone who could.

I have extras of both rear calipers and brake masters you could have gratis but you'd have to wait a week or 2 which I'm sure isn't an option for you in nice warm ATL... used rear master cyl are very cheap from Rubbersideup btw..and they're $45 new from Motowheels. Are you sure you need it tho? have you checked the freeplay in the pushrod?

The Don

The same thing happens to me on the way to Moto GP last year, it appears the nut that stops the adjuster from moving back and forth fell off. Then slowly locked itself on, as I was in the middle of nowhere I had to disconnect the rear brake all together.
I contacted Gowanlochs and had the same response, there isn't a rebuild kit

Here, here, another who took out too much freeplay and slowly locked up the rear.  The madter is fine, just back off the adjuster rod.  Check fluid levels since i boiled off some of mine and all is well.
