It's been a bit haphazard. There's not been a core driver like Bill to keep on the horse.

Did a number of meets in Shirlington and a few other spots. But, a little haphazard

Quite a few times in the last couple years, a number of the CAM regulars and associates got on the crack days wagon. I got the bug badly enough I turned to the wera classifieds drug pushers and got a Daytona 675 track bike that was for sale out by Dulles. Nice ride, and was 99% 'Yeah, I'd have done that same thing too'. I've messed with it a bit, because I can't leave well enough alone - and the stock rear suspension linkage made it progressive - and the damn thing squatted a ton on me... but that's all solved

And in my world, things are a bit busier. IN the near term, I mangled my shoulder during some sport and just got out of an immobilizer sling. IN the bigger scheme, I've got a 17 month old! So as you may recall, things are busy!

Still riding, Keeping Bill's memory alive in my mind with the road cleanup for the road we adopted in his name. I added a couple of new toys to the collection. I've been doing meetups with those on my ride list, we managed to get together last night in Clifton, even John Esposito showed up, on a very nice old HD and I just happened to be on the XR which I had not ridden in awhile. Sold my SS so have not done any track days lately. Big ride planned for this weekend including 180 mile stretch on a road that is nothing but twisty it's entire length. Not part of MAD but I am Mid-Atlantic rep for Victory Motorcycle Club. Still liking my move out of Reston but traffic has been a major hassle lately - everywhere. If you still got out to South Riding we should meet-up sometime, maybe at the Santini's Rt.50/28, after work. You can PM me. - Gene
