does anyone know if an 888 style fuel tank will bolt onto a 2002 M750ie ??

thinking about this:
888 Eti fuel tank

It will probably fit the frame, but the seat, and ignition might be an issue.

I have an 888 tank in the shop if you need some numbers.

for the seat I would go for something like this :

didn't even think about the ignition though

there was a pic' a while back somewhere here on the forum of an old monster with a 851/888 tank
it may have been some prototype, not sure what was involved
I haven't been able to find the pic now, don't remember the thread

I was initially considering a 999 tank but doing the research it requires quite a bit of frame modding
