Ho ho ho

Happy new year Koko  chug

I am going to build a new engine for a new monster.

Motorcycle intended to do a bit of everything, go to work, take a walk with my wife, travel nomadically and do the French road rally championship

The yellow I roll everywhere in France and Europe between two covid  Grin

I will have a specific support for the rear brake caliper machined for the yellow one soon.

Hi Pepe
What specification for the new bikes motor? Compression ratio, carburettors, ignition, cams and valves?
Also what are your plans for the wheels, suspension and chassis? Are you planning a scrambler style for the rally?

For the engine it is being assembled here ----> https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8jUh3OAfZPIcYRdy7TRCgHfbCMP96LS8

For the engine specifications, nothing very complicated, Ducati 900SSie camshafts, 1mm squish, "cleaned" cylinder heads, all properly mounted, aiming for the highest possible compression ratio with the original pistons.

At the exhaust I will make a homemade 2/1

For ignition, an ignitech box with shifter and IAP sensor.

And finally for the carburetor I will put a single carburetor, a Mikuni HSR45  Evil

For the "look" I no longer think from a monster but rather from a 900 supersport frame from 1994 that I amputated to keep only the front.

900 monster fork modified with a classic swingarm with two shock absorbers.

A large handlebar for maneuverability, DUCATI 800 scrambler wheels.

Here's a bit of an outline  Grin

A very interesting project waytogo.
Are you making your own 2 into 1 manifold or is there a manifold kit with the HSR?
Pepe design for frame, sub frame and twin shock swingarm sounds very interesting.
Anticipating a report with pictures. Grin

Look forward to it.

A few years ago, before Covid, I was talking to someone who wanted to use a HSR 42 carb on a 2 into 1 manifold on a 900 desmodue. They were looking for an affordable option to the very expensive Keihin FCR  carbs. I don't think they ever finished the project. It will be great to see how you fabricate a solution for the manifold.

I plan to start with two original intake pipes then two rubber sleeves then the rest will be a prototype in 3D printing and machining to finish
