So last year I sold my beloved 99 750 dark, because I got an offer I couldn't pass up.

I've been riding my SV since, and though I'd pick up a second bike to tinker with.

So, I found a neglected 00 750 that I managed to pick up for $1400.  18k miles, huge Ducati tank dent, bald tires, and pod filters without a jet kit.

She's going for tires and carb cleaning/jetting this week.  Probably get the valves checked this winter.

I love my SV, but there's just something about the Duc's that I can't get away from.  Maybe in the spring I'll sell them both and get a better monster.
