Anyone have this happen to you while riding your monster?

After 7 years riding, I hadn't encountered it before today. A Honda Civic got in the lane beside me in the fast lane and hung out there at my speed. I tried not reacting and maintaining speed, but he wouldn't go away so I moved a lane over and he followed me almost swerving in my new lane to stay the same speed. I tried slowing down and he did the same so I moved all the way to the slowest lane and hung out behind a car while slowing down to the safest speed I could on the freeway and he still followed me. It was really annoying! Eventually he went away, but geez!!

Anyone else encounter this?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Perhaps he... we know it was a guy driving was trying to 'impress' you or catch your eye with the highway equivalent of a playground hair-pull.
