We made a trip this past weekend to Kutchner Caverns in Benson, AZ and came across something very unexpected.... "Cave Bacon" Check it out:  Probably the oldest of all the bacon!!! |

I used to work with Zane Kartchner in Tucson. They actually took a sample of that ancient bacon slab and discovered it was in fact turkey bacon..made by the Hopi Indian tribe. |

You mean there are other ways to cook a turkey?! Ever since I could remember, there was at least a pound of bacon covering the turkey, and my dad would use a gallon jug of apple cider to baste it in.  |
