Things are underway and since the course is all macadam, records will fall.

Late to the party on this one, but I was checking Jalopnik this morning.....so they paved the whole course?

Yeah, the last dirt got paved over :(

I used to live out that way when it was still mostly dirt. Those unlimited class vehicles had quite a gamble on their hands for a while. If they pushed too hard on the pave they would have no tires left when they hit the dirt.

1400hp....still getting slip in 5th.  [evil]

Heh - he's sponsored by some hotel in Cripple Creek. And yes, not PC, but there's a town in CO named that. About an hour from CO Springs by car. About 20 miles if you can fly - welcome to travel in the mountains.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

The "Monster" racing an electric car this year.

Must be hard to drive that when the motor doesn't "talk" to you like a piston engine.

Gotta love Goofy's instructional sports videos.
Would have been great if he'd done one on auto-racing!
