After days of testing the new software and tool, Chris is finally ready to scan and 3D model the MTT43 mold for tooling. A new top of the Monster tank will soon be born!

Look at the lasers:

I just now was able to coax all of the hardwares and softwares to start to do what I want... put a nice surface of the MTT tank top mold into my preferred CAD program. Now I'll use some organic modelling tools to tweak on it and make the top a little taller so we can eek out some more capacity.

@MonsterInDark: I'm the idiot savant of crashing one of the tools I need. So working with Autodesk to find a solution... And I haven't even started getting tricky with it. Tongue

OK, we're back to work. After spending all day yesterday uninstalling, downgrading versions, and all that... today I reinstall to the latest version of the CAD software and everything is working again.  bang head

The green-ish mesh looking stuff is the scan of the inside of the original mold.
