« on: June 10, 2012, 01:25:37 PM »

I'm planning out a road trip on my trusty M750 for the end of June.
My intention is to go up the coast on the 101.
Hopefully to Seattle....

Looking for local knowledge of road conditions; pavement quality, traffic, weather patterns, etc.
Hoping for good road, clear sky and no motorhomes.  laughingdp

Also looking for economical lodging recommendations near the CA/OR border, and the OR/WA border.

What's the scoop?  chug

Drop bnbmike a line, he lives in Pacific City and knows the roads on the central coast. Dolph

If Crescent City works out to be a good overnight stay it is near the border of CA/OR, I would suggest Curly Redwood Lodge on the south side of Crescent City.  It's kinda cool funky and has some good history, given it was built entirely from one redwood tree back in the day.

Also, pretty sure motorhomes will be in abundance... wish you luck though!   drool  It's a nice ride.
