What year/model bike and ECU do you have?  The 07 Monster?  I could sell you mine if it matches up, I had a 2003 800.  I don't have the bike any more.  I think it's the 5.9 ECU.  And what do you need it for?

'07 695. Stock ECU which I believe is the 5.9.
I just need to do a TPS reset.
Don't race it or anything, it is just acting wonky.

A buddy has helped me out, but he always helps me with everything.
Trying to do this one without his help.

Have you asked about the cost for the local shop to do it?  They may only charge a few dollars, takes about a minute to do.

If not and you want to come down to Portland we can do it one weekend.  Or I'll sell the whole thing to you for  $100 with the USB adapter.  I think it's about $250 new.

I think I will swing by my buddies shop. I feel bad always leaning on him. Guess I better show up with a 6pack.

Thank you for the offer.

Don't feel bad, it's a 5 minute job and you don't even get greasy.  It's also something you just can't do on a Ducati without a computer.  Shame too, because unless you have error codes all you really need VDSTS for is TPS reset and idle CO.  And if you've got an O2 sensor it's just TPS reset.  Oh, and a 6 pack should be more than payment enough.

I was looking at the manual for an FZ6 lately and you can get to all the same settings through the dashboard with just turns of the key and holding down buttons.  I was jealous.

Damn no luck on the hookup.
Guess I need to get down to PDX if the offer still stands.
