Before I put the SC1K away today, I figured I'd pull my other bike out and snap a couple of pics to post here in the official "pic thread".

This was my dirt-bike as a kid.  We lived on a couple of acres in Keller and rode it all over our property.
My dad has kept it all these years.  He gave it to me a few years ago, and I've been keeping it, telling myself someday I'll fix it up.  Oh well, at least it doesn't take up much space.

It's a 1978 Yamaha GT 80.  I have the Texas Title in my dad's name, date issued: 06/01/82 (neat!).
I remember the day we went and bought it (used) up in Flower Mound.  My dad gave me a $100 bill, and my brother a $100 bill to hand to the seller.  Thus, we bought our first motorcycle!   mo:t:

Yep, that's really nice Jim! Cool story and very cool that your Dad kept it all these years... and now you have it back. waytogo It looks to be in really good shape considering what you and your brother must have done to it when Dad wasn't looking! Do not get rid of that bike no matter what!! Police I learned too late in life that you never get rid of a bike... now I'm trying to make up for lost time and bikes! cheeky

Hey, what a guy does for fun is his own business. So occasionally I like to shave my legs and dress up in frilly clothes? Doesn't everybody?  laughingdp

Welcome to the DFWM (most active local forum thank you very much). I'll be in New Hampshire in August for the Mt. Washington Bicycle Hillclilmb (http://www.tinmtn.org/mwarbh/page.cfm/About-This-Race). Maybe I can borrow your 620 if I'm too tired to finish the course.  Grin
