...you have to go with a Double Bastard!

(I may be late to work tomorrow.)    Grin

Anyone tried this?  It's 10.5% alcohol by volume.  Shocked  I have a buzz after half a pint!   Embarrassed   Grin

Had one a few weeks ago.

Bar only served it in a snifter.

So in effect, I only had a Quarter Bastard. Undecided

It was pretty damned tasty! chug

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I was drinking DogfishHead Fort at one of their brew pubs in a snifter the other night...nice 18% beer, though it was a little like a barleywine, but not exactly...

Ha, I live down the street from Stone Brew. They've also got an excellent restaurant.

I had my first oaked bastard the other night. I love arrogant bastard, but the oaked version was repulsive. Tasted like they forgot to empty the wine out of the barrel before adding the beer.
