Unusual tires. Have you ridden it yet? I love mine. Recommend a Rottweiler airbox set up, good for about another 10 hp. I shit you not.

Tires are Shinko 705's   120/70   170/60
They're cheap, and I want to be able to take a few fire access roads up in the AZ mountains. They're not too bad on the asphalt. 80/20 tire, so a little vibration but not bad at all. Went on my first ride yesterday. A little head shake at triple digits. Much like the Aprilia Dorsoduro I had. Solved by leaning forward and tucking in a bit. Suspension is currently set to the specs in the owner's manual. Proper sag will be set shortly (garage day planned). Cornering is still pretty good. Geared it at 16/41 (+3 rear). It's a real hooligan!

Took the snorkel out of the airbox (along with the acorns, fur, and mouse), and fit a K&N filter. It's got a FMF exhaust and Rott O2 plug. Gonna leave it as is... for now.

For real speed... I've got the Repsol SP.  Smiley

Re the Mk II Super Duke. I loved mine, and only sold it as it hadn't been ridden at all after I bought the Super Adventure. I had the motohooligan intake and throttle body butterflies on it, as well as a few other choice bits. You'll want to download TuneECU for a lap top, and the associated cables so you can alter all aspects on the air/fuel ratio. That, in conjunction with fuel dongles will really smooth the throttle action on that thing, and make it usable in town. Bike was an absolute ripper though once uncorked.

Nice find on the additions to your airbox. Hope it hadn't been run with all that shit geting sucked into the engine.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Took the MY '21 Super Adventure S for a demo this past saturday. That bike is so much more refined than the previous version, although lost a little bit of the direct feel. Thing I liked the most about it was how I could get both feet flat on the ground while seated, which is something I can never do on my '16 SA-T. I'd so that overall, BMW has a serious contender targeting GS sales.
