Its a sad day when anyone in our motorcycling community dies, its also a tragic when a character like Simoncelli died doing what they love doing.

Very sad man, it was one hell of a crash. Simoncelli was an awsome individual and equally so a sportsman. Very very sad.

A colourful character, was Simoncelli,.......taking over from Rossi there i felt.........
I was on the phone to Rob S talking my usual shit when it happened....
Less than 30 minutes prior to the start I was watching Simo explainig a Moto GP bike and its workings...broken English and all made him even more likeable.......
A very sad day indeed..............

I am gutted. I loved that big haired galoot. I reckon he would have owned it in the 1000cc class next year. RIP bro. ride hard wherever you end up - You gave no quarter and expected none. RIP.

I dont recommend watching the replay. it's fked up. no one needs to see that.

A sad day indeed.  We all love to ride and we all know the risks but any loss like this is still a tragedy.

RIP Marco.  You brought us great enjoyment and you will be sadly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers go out for your family and friends.

He very obviously believed in the saying "Race Hard or go Home!" Sometimesw to his detriment,

but there was never any doubt of his ability and passion!  waytogo

Lost waaaay too soon! RIP Marco  Sad Shocked

its the same sickening feeling as senna.what an omen in that last interview where he clumsly describes his bike in sixty seconds
he finally points to the kill switch and says he is now turning off....R.I.P Marco.
