How do you guys have your left mirror adjusted?  What do you see when looking in it? Say for example your in the left portion of the right lane, do you see the line on the edge of the other lane and about how far back can you see. I really don't know how to ask what I'm looking for. My right mirroe is great. If I'm sitting in the garage I can see in the left mirror the same thing I see in the right mirror only in different  a different area of the mirror.

Does that make sense or am I blabbering?

It's probably as hard to give a good answer as it is to give a good explanation.  Both of my mirrors are adjusted to where I see the edges of my elbows.  When I am riding with other people, I can usually get a better judge of the guy behind me and to my right from my left mirror than I can from my right.  I see that person in both mirrors though.  Does that help?

Yes, thanks ! I have tryed them like I keep my truck mirrors but thst doesn't really work.
I wonder if I have it pointed down to much, i switched from napoleon bar ends that I could see everything in to crg's that I see most of everything in. Maybe the convex is throwing me off. But thanks for your reply

CRG as much as I like it and use, I can't see tops of cars especially
Police and ofcourse everything is way further away than it really is.

I only run a single right hand CRG. I head check most times unless I'm on the highway for me personally its just about as quick as looking in the mirror as for a lefty head check  Undecided.

Are your mirrors mounted upside down?

I have these same mirrors and mount them even with the bars as opposed to below or above (get it?)
I see the just the top edges of my low mounts in the lower inside of the mirror.
Pretty good question actually. chug

Yep, they are upside down (arms to pointed to the road). I didn't think it would make that much difference. I head check to the left all the time and to the right when needed. Used to have Napoleons that I could see everything forever with. I think the left one needs to be raised a bit to see more of the middle of whats comming up on the left.

Although trial and error may be the answer
