Hey all..I'm thinking of parting with my full TERMIGNONI Carbon system with just over 4000 miles on it.  My question is, how hard of a switch is it to another exhaust?  I guess I'm looking for the simple steps in doing so.. ie: take off pipes, install new ones, remap, re-flash? etc.  Have never done this before with Ducati.  All I know is when they were installed, I thought they came with ECU?  Or did my bike have ECU just flashed?  So all I will be able to sell is the exhaust right?  lol  Sry not so informed on this matter.
Thanks!

Better off in Tech with this one.

By the way, which bike are you talking about?

It most probably came, or should have come with a DP ECU ('race' if you like)

The usual procedure is to bring the stock exhaust and ECU home, try (but won't find buyers) to sell it and then store it. Used bikes are often sold with the stock parts in a box - in this case also containing the stock ECU.

Stock exhaust and maybe a few other exhaust systems will be fine with the stock ECU, but if your bike is the S4RS in your avatar it will have about 17 bhp more than stock. I ask: why change that?

Another exhaust system may or may not suit the bike with the DP ECU. It can be reflashed, but if the new exhaust require different fueling it might be time for a Power Commander and Dyno time.

What are your exhaust plans?

Thanks for the info.  I have decided not to change what works.  I was looking at the Boom Tubes only for reasons that it cleared up the rear.  But after conideration, and all the heck that goes with changing stuff,  I'm sticking with the full "Terms" system on it now. Not to mention they were almost $3000..lol.      Guess I'll just save a little more for a good slipper!
