1st Annual Deep Creek Sport Adventure Ride
24 September through 26 September, 2011

Accommodations: http://www.deepcreekresort.com/bre/properties/Mt-Dew/

Approximate Cost: $200/each for 12 riders. Breakfast and dinner at the house included in the price.

The plan is to depart Arlington, VA early Saturday morning and ride some nice West Virginia roads all the way to Deep Creek Lake, MD. A pimp house with food, drink, hot tub, pool table, and other nice amenities will be waiting for us to kick back in. Then we will spend Sunday on another adventure ride back into West Virginia back roads. Check out on Monday and head back home.

Max 12 riders.  There are a few spots left.

Come on out! I've got some non-stop twisty routes planned that take us west of I79. Quite a diverse crew, too. A mix of sport tourers, adventure tourers, nekeds, and sports. Pace will be moderate-to-spirited to keep the group together and alive.

All you gotta do is take Monday off and tuck away some pesos for lunch (and beer kitty for Saturday night).

It was an epic 3 days with one great road after another. Some of us even got out to Ohio for a bit...

And it's time for a beefier spring, and a shock overhaul...

Thanks to DucPond for the quick suspension adjustment (on a very busy day)! It was nice bumping into Gene and getting a few tips about the roads ahead, too.

EPIC!!!  738 miles of mostly twisties!  Amazing scenery!  And the lake house was incredible.

I'm already planning for next year!

Thanks for leading us!  Great routes!

I'm already IN!

Here's one of Pete's shots. I'm probably futzin' with my tag again (err, still). Lesson learned: don't leave home without zip ties! Tongue

Sounds awesome!  I spent the week on the west coast for work, otherwise I might have joined y'all.  Maybe next time around  Grin
