I got a new 160 gig ipod and can hold a bunch of podcasts. My set so far:

Science Friday, NPR
Ideas, from Canada
Fresh Air, NPR
The Commonwealth Club of California, NPR

What do you like? Got any good recommendations?

To me, The Joe Rogan Experience is the best out there. Might not be your thing but it makes me laugh out loud, opens me up to lots of new information and generally make me happy!

My favorites:

The Heidi and Frank Show
&
My Brother, My Brother and Me

Both are comedy podcasts dealing with current issues. Good stuff.

"the moth" short monologues without notes in front of an audience. Often funny, sometimes poignant but always entertaining.

Thanks everyone. I looked at all the suggestions and downloaded a few to try out. The NPR shows I podcast are ones that are on while I am at work. The weekend shows I listen to at home.

Podcasts rule.  I am checking out Kuntster Cast now, thanks ab  waytogo

Can't believe this has not been suggested yet, WTF with Marc Maron - it took a few episodes for me to get hooked.  I look forward to new WTFs more than the TV shows I follow.

Sound of Young America, PRI

Wired Features

Selected Shorts, PRI

I listen to Adam Carolla's and Jay Mohr's podcasts - check em out, but be prepared to hear a lot about Adam Carolla and Jay Mohr.   They are a little hit-or-miss at times.

I used to listen to Carolla. It then became an hour a day advertisement for his book. He used to have new material from time to time but those days are gone.
