G'day Chris

I was wondering if there were plans for the production of a plastic Monster replica tank. With old steel tanks getting rusty and rare and the new plastic ones having expansion issues, I thought you may be considering a new Monster tank product.
There are new old stock steel tanks around but they will still require reinforcement to prevent leaking hinges. Carbon tanks are great but cost as much as a bike. Plastic will not rust and give greater weight loss per dollar than carbon.

Any chance of this happening in the future or have the Bolognese Mafia called?  You know what I mean.Wink

Regards
Tony

Hi Tony,

We are currently reworking our plastic Monster tanks with a new manufacturer example: http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/red-ca-cycleworks-4-3-gallon-fuel-tank-for-all-carbureted-ducati-monsters

They should be done and on the market again in December. No further plans for any other Monster tanks at the moment.

Thanks,
Candice
