It seems MV gave the bike to the slowest make the beast with two backsing rider they could find. If he were any worse, he would've been going backwards.

That said, my pants are a lot more cramped at the moment. I really really really want one

This bike is supposed to be sub 10k

That was the estimate in 2010 when they were expecting the bike in 2011 for the U.S.
I was trying to plan to land one of these in my garage at that initial 9k pricetag (and so was everyone else on the planet), but current estimates are putting U.S. MSRP around $14,900.

that's asking a bit much for a 675 platform, even if it is pumping out 140hp in probably the sexiest chassis i've ever seen.

i'll likely end up in a daytona 675R for about 2k less.

i think the biggest issue with this bike will be the fact that it's a brand new engine from a small italian manufacturer... i'd def hold off for a good long while before thinking about picking one up.

Nice looking, but I actually prefer the Daytona's styling.  The cyclops face just isn't doing it for me, nor the overdesigned unnecessarily swoopy dash.  I'm all for a 140hp (we'll see) triple, but the current Triumph has been, and still is, sexy as hell.
