m796 rotor size? same part number as the m1100, so it should be ok to use those?

Hey guys,
does anyone happen to know the correct size rotor to get for a m796 abs? i'm going to need a new one and i'm not too sure if a 696 one will fit...
thanks for any help
ok, so i did some research... i dont have the actual numbers but based on the spare parts catalog, the front rotors on the '11 796abs have the same parts number as the '09 m1100 (492.4.101.1A). I take it that this should mean that I will be ok in ordering rotors that fit the 09 m1100?

I just was looking at California Cycleworks for rotors and they list the M1100 as 320mm with a 15mm offset and the 796,1100 EVO as a 320mm with a 10mm offset. I'd double check to make sure before you order.

i think that might be an error on the site...
i just checked the site and saw this:
http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/products/brakes/brake-rotors/braketech-axis-cmctm-320x5mm-ceramic-matrix-1198-999-rotor-with-5-hole-mount-15mm-offset
BrakeTech AXIS/CMC™ 320x5mm Ceramic Matrix 1198/999 rotor with 5 hole mount 15mm offset
Ducati:
Superbikes 1198,1098,848 07-up; 999,749 03-up
Monster 1100, 796, S4R S4Rs Testa with radial mount calipers 06-up
Streetfighter
Multistrada 1200
Diavel
and i'm guessing you're referring to this:
http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/products/brakes/brake-rotors/braketech-axistm-320x5mm-ductile-iron-rotor-with-5-hole-mount-10mm-offset
BrakeTech AXIS™ 320x5mm Ductile Iron rotor with 5 hole mount 10mm offset
Fitment
Ducati Monster 796/1100 EVO, Multistada 1200, Diavel
however, now you have me worried :\
does anyone have a m1100 workshop manual? i called the dealership and they said that the workshop manual should have the exact numbers. I figure more people are going to have the m1100 workshop manual then a 796 one.
and i emailed ca cycleworks about the rotors. hopefully they can clear it up.

According to Commonwealth Ducati- the parts are as stated, and the fitment is indicated for various models here:
I would go by that...

offhand, just to let anyone else know, the m1100S has a 15mm offset, the m796/m1100 has a 10mm offset

yeah, i heard that too... from that sbk upgrade thread right?
i have in my possession 2 rotors with a 15mm offset... that dont fit the 796 :\ tried to get them on today, didnt work. gonna hopefully be able to return them for the correct size.
measured the dish from the inner rotor to the inner carrier and the orig one had a 5mm dish, the 15mm rotor had a 10mm dish. with the extra 5mm width of the rotor, it's 10mm for the orig brembo rotor.
so anyone doing a sbk fork upgrade will need a 5mm shim... it's not a drop in like it said in the other thread.

5 bolt, 15mm rotors. they should fit the m1100s, 848, s4r/s, and others i believe. cant verify that, it's only from the ebay listing.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Front-Brake-Rotor-Ducati-749-848-998-999-1100-/140419827005?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20b1ac853d
Outer Diameter
320mm
Inner Diameter
72mm
Thickness
5mm
Number Of Holes
5
Offset
15mm
they dont fit the m1100 though... only the m1100s :\
i'll prob toss them up onto the parts for sale section soon
