They were fairly easy to install, however there was not a single bit of instructions. Not that they are really needed but it would have been nice. I have never purchased slip-on's before so I cannot give you a comparison of the finish compared to anything else. I think they are made well.

The adaptor that goes on the stock mid-pipe and connects to the slip on was difficult to get on. The fit was VERY tight. It took a little persuasion but they did go on. The spring on the left side exhaust is stretched to the MAX. It was difficult to get on.

As far as sound goes they are pretty docile with the baffles in. Very similar to stock in volume but a deeper sound. After removing the baffles they really came to life and sound fantastic. They have a nice bite to the sound and are louder than stock by a pretty good margin but they are not obnoxious at all.

I ordered them from Motivation one evening last week and they had them shipped out the next day.

Overall I am very happy.

Looks good. waytogo

Kind of surprised that the last bit of bent pipe is a separate piece not attached to the cans, though.

I was suprised a little bit by that too but then I figured that they probably used the same cans for several different models and this way they can make ONE can and different shaped connectors.

Just a guess.

Very nice. Those cans look good even with the stock tail.

Mark - Those look really nice. I've got an 09 1100 and have considered doing the same, but heard that the reduction in back pressure will make it run too lean. Have you noticed any issues, like running hotter, since you changed?

Please say no - I know the guys at Motovation too Smiley
