the new Alfas are not problematic and are very nicely designed.

if you were going to get an early 70's GTV, i would first ask if you enjoy prison sex.  cause that's about what ownign that car is like.  of course, sometimes you are on the giving end and it's a hoot to drive.

Alfa =

warped head
torque heads every 15K miles
leaking front caliper
rear breaks that need to be adjusted every 2000 miles
alternator lasts only two years
wheel alignment is good for only 3 hours and that's before you even drive it
no heat to the floor area
replace the water pump as soon as you buy the car

BUT all this disappeared when you started that make the beast with two backser up!

It's like falling in love with a crazy stripper........................

Carlos I think that Alfa produce some stunning looking cars but over here in the UK the cost of ownership is quite alarming as they do seem to loose thier value quickly, I personally like them but to my mind you'd have to be very wealthy in respect that you could afford to loose that kind of money... bang head
Babs has a 2.0tdi VW golf and the build quality is 1st class and the gas mileage which is very important in the UK ($8 a gallon) is fantastic plus the value of second hand golfs is always top dollar... waytogo
