some thoughts

Ti axles
mag side cases
ti bolts everywhere?
need to wait for motorcreations carbon fiber replacement tail, gets rid of that metal pan on the tail piece.
mono seat in carbon fiber
carbon fiber tank panels
going to pod filters?
BST rims

you should be hitting pretty low in the 300s for weight

Thanks for the suggestions. More than likely going to do the Mag cases. Thinking of doing the Mono Seat with custom paint... Been investigating velocity stacks / Pod filters. Probably going to go with forged mag on the wheels.

I haven’t seen anything about the motocreations tail... Where can I get more info on that?

the reason i said the pod filters is the airbox isn't light.
one of my goals is to get a friend to work up a larger more funtional CF airbox

for the motocreations tail piece, you'll have to  look at their facebook site for sneakpeak.

tons more ways to lighten the bike.
lighter brake rotors
are you using a 525 or 520 chain?
you could drop a lot with a custom TI exhaust system

i like the way you are going though. light is right.

Both are up for sale. You can see the wheels here: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=47016.0

I do have someone that is serious about buying both, but if it falls through and you are interested, I can sell everything together for $1400. Keep in mind that this is just the wheels and swingarm. Does not include the hub assembly and other components.

That's pretty sweet, and quite a weight savings for one part!
